FENDER 351 CELLULOID PICKS

FENDER 351 PICKS:

Fender 351 Earrpix Guitar Pick Earrings feature picks manufactured by the legendary guitar maker and bear its vintage logo and pick weight in gold. Most Fender 351 Earrpix Earrings are made with “HEAVY” gauge picks; however a “MEDIUM” gauge pick will occasionally be used.

CONFETTI: Red/White/Blue mixture. This pick features a colorful mixture of small, randomly arrayed flecks of red, white and blue. The fleck arrays vary among picks, therefore the picks in each pair of Earrpix Guitar Pick Earrings will be the same.

STANDARD COLORS: White (flat)

CELLULOID COLORS: The Black (charcoal grey), Blue, Ocean Turquoise, Purple and Red picks bear a crinkled and glossy appearance as if the color were on a piece of wadded-up celluloid tape that had been straightened out. Examination of each image will reveal a varying intensity on each pick that makes for a vibrant dangle.

The patterns of the Abalone and (to an even greater extent) Tortoiseshell picks are far more obvious. Yet most of our customers comment very favorably on those differences, and the Tortoiseshell and Abalone Earrpix are among the highest in demand. Some have noted that the differences among the two earrings in each pair enhance their beauty, making them stand out to a greater extent than other nearly identical earrings. We do our best to pair similarly colored/shaded picks; however the picks on Abalone and Tortoiseshell picks will not match

FENDER CALIFORNIA CLEAR PICKS:

Cool, clear and colorful, Fender ‘California Clears’ are manufactured in the ‘351’ pick shape. Earrpix Guitar Pick Earrings featuring California Clears are available in five colors using “Heavy” gauge picks (except as noted).

Just how ‘clear’ are the Fender California Clear’ guitar picks?

Judge for yourself! Click on the group image above and look carefully at the individual images of each Earrpix Guitar Pick Earring made with a Fender California Clear pick; depending on the color you will be able to see some detail of the guitar fret board behind the pick on the right-side of the pair, and the darker area where the two picks overlap.

BURGUNDY MIST: Mis-named by someone who never learned their Crayola colors, this is a PINK pick. Highly translucent (but not quite transparent), this is a dainty color that Barbie would select if she had pierced ears.

SURF GREEN: Another very ‘clear’ pick (with high translucency) in the line, the Surf Green is sometimes described by others as ‘foam’ green. Very pretty, very summery, always appropriate.

LAKE PLACID BLUE: A beautiful blue that one could use as a trim color on a beach house. Less translucent than the aforementioned colors, the Lake Placid Blue speaks of serenity.

CANDY APPLE RED: This is the darkest in color in the California Clear line that allows very little light to pass. The printed palm tree and FENDER reference stand out.

SHORELINE GOLD: This selection in the California Clear line has been discontinued. However, we bought up all the remaining stock we could find and continue to have this very happy color available in the line. Most are “Heavy” picks, however the last Shoreline Gold Earrpix we sell will be “Medium” gauge (and customers will be notified prior to shipment).
